It really was so perfect, everything you’d ever imagine and more! I knew eventually he was going to ask, but I definitely didn't think it would be in Hawaii (Can it get any better?) I was thinking more of like December '07, so I was a little surprised to say the least when it happened in October. Anyway...the whole week was perfect (I think we pretty much did everything you can do in Oahu, in the four short days I was there, it was so much fun!), but this particular day (proposal day) was just amazing! He started it off by taking me to a waterfall (Waimea Falls), it was nice because we were the only ones there at the time so we got to swim around and pretty much have the place to ourselves. We then went to Wiamea beach and got to jump off cliff rocks and relax-hang out, from there we visited the Dole Plantation for some fresh pineapple and lunch, I didn't think it could get any better, but then it all began...
I kind of knew something was up, because the whole day he was acting very anxious! Every place we went he would seem rushed and anxious to leave for the next place (as compared to the rest of the trip.) I also knew something was different because when he gets nervous he tends to joke a lot, so the day was full of a lot of joking and laughing, much more than usual. However, even with all the signs, I still was oblivious to what would be happening that night! He had told me earlier in the day that we were going to go to this nice place for dinner my last night in Hawaii, but when he picked me up he said we would be having a change of plans for the evening. We pulled up to this private, secluded beach called Bikini Beach (yes, we had to climb over a little locked gate to get in and walk through a field of trees and bushes to get there, that's how private it was!) I started heading towards the beach, and turned around to find Ty pulling blankets, food, music, and lighting out of the car. By now I was thinking "Wow, he is really putting a lot into my last night here." but again still oblivious to the idea of a proposal. We got to the beach watched the sun set, ate dinner, and had some dessert, he then pulled out a coconut with a big bow around it, I opened it, saw the ring (I was completely shocked, ecstatic, and speechless, I didn't know what to think or say), he grabbed the ring and got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! so GREAT!! What makes the story even more perfect is the ring he asked me with! Obviously we didn't have the ‘diamond ring’ yet so he asked me with a coconut ring made from a coconut (very symbolic! he has a matching one as well!) It was perfect and I'm so happy/lucky he decided to do it in Hawaii. Ty returned in December (for good) and gave me the most beautiful Emerald diamond ring ever (How lucky am I? two beautiful engagement rings and two perfect engagements!) It seriously was the best night of my life! I couldn't have asked or dreamed for it to go anymore perfect then it did! anyway...this is getting really long, the funny thing is I could keep going with more detail, but I'll refrain myself. Here's some pictures!

I can't believe you started a blog and didn't tell me! jk...now I will definitely be able to stalk you. No but really, I'm so glad because now I will know what's going on in your life! I can't believe it's already been a year since he proposed. Isn't being married the best??? Four years later and I still love it. Now you just need kids...jk take your time! (unlike me)
